Puppeya Liver Girl

As I write this I am pretty overwhelmed with grief, but I feel that I need to honor one of the sweetest, most loving dogs I have ever had the pleasure of owning. I got Peya 5 years ago and I went to pick her up with my dad and my good friend Jenny. We knew she was special right away as she immediately snuggled in and slept the 2 hour ride home. Peya had a huge heart and felt everything. When I would watch movies if I laughed, cried or even just made a sigh Peya would come over plop her head on my lap and make sure I was alright. I never had to tell her too many times to do something like lay down or no. She never wanted to upset me. Living in the country is wonderful. We have a big yard where Peya spent a lot of her time. It was wonderful to not have to tie her up, put her on a leash or a pen. She was a good girl as Preston would say and she stayed in the yard and even knocked on the door when she wanted back in. Though this free life style does not come without a little risk. Peya got into something on the farm and became very ill and today at 12:30pm, Peya passed on. We are very sad and will miss her very much!

Good Girl Peya!
We love you!

I don't even know what to say Nicole. I know how broken-hearted you must be. It was evident how much love you had for Peya. I think everytime I visited she had a new "outfit"/collar on. She loved you and she KNEW she was loved. I hope it gives you peace knowing that she had such a remarkable life...and that is due to you. She had the life most dogs could only dream of...chasing anything that crossed her path without bounds, the unconditional love of a devoted mommy & family, and most recently a little pal to hang around with. Peya will always be in your family. I know we'll remember her each time we step out of the car onto your farm. She was indeed a "good girl." Love you Peya!

Hey sweetie, I didn't realize I was logged in as Kevin. That last comment was from me...Michelle. :) But I do speak for our entire family.
