Last night Jeremy and I rearranged the living room furniture to accommodate our new desk. Why are we rearranging furniture? Because we are giving up our office to make a playroom for Preston and any child who may be joining him (at a later date). We opted to have one desk and computer in the living room rather than 1000 toys! It took us two hours! We had it arranged at least 4 times. My how our lives have changed. We thought back to when we first met and when we bought this house. We never thought we would be spending a Friday evening trying to cram furniture into our rather big
living room and saying we wished we had more room!
I am certainly not complaining. It just amazes me how much my life has changed! In this troubled economy I can honestly say that our family is truly blessed. My wonderful husband provides for his family very well and is able to support me through 3 1/2 years of school. I get to finish school in December and start a job doing something I love! My son is healthy and has two rooms in his home! We have a lot and we are fortunate. But after two hours of furniture moving and "what if we put this here and that there?" We figured out that our lives, though wonderful, now revolve around a precious little boy that we never could have imagined we'd love this much!
I have posted two pictures the first one is our final rearrangement. The last one is the color of the new toy room. I'll post pics when it's done!
Note the new desk in the right hand corner..

Bright green! We are going to paint a big magnetic chalk board on one wall. Way cool! He'll probably just drag everything into the
living room but at least we'll have a place for the multiplying toys!
