Stubby

This is our new rooster Stubby. He is a Rhode Island Red and very cool. Unlike our last rooster Spike he is a bit afraid of humans but we like that because we all know about Spike and his desire to attack people. We call him Stubby because he has no claws at all seems there was a bout of frost bite over the winter which left him with stubs. He's very nice to look at and seems to be ajusting to his new home well.

Smiley:)

We got a great smile picture. Poppa Larry got him to smile big and I finally caught it on film

The Siding is Done

Now painting the doors green and foundation white, putting new storm doors on and then we move to the garage!

It's slow moving with the little one but he does his best to help. This is his first quad ride!

Sleep for Mom and Preston

We are sleeping through the night! For the past two weeks Preston has gone to bed around 9:00 and wakes at 5:30 eats and goes back down until about 7:30. This little routine we are on is great since in three weeks Mommy goes back to school on Mondays and Wednesdays and can get ready while he is sleeping. I do not look forward to leaving him but our good friend Julie is watching him and I feel good about that:) Thankfully I will only have to be gone two days a week. Smiles are getting so much bigger and lasting much longer but everytime I pull the camera out he gives me this blank stare! I just know he will be laughing soon. Here is a picture that I took this morning believe me when I say that he was smiling before I brought the camera to him... really! This picture really looks like Preston. It shows his round little face much better than other pictures I take of him. We were playing with a new toy that he got from his great aunt Denise. He really likes it!
